Forecast is for 3-6 foot Hawaiian – over head to double overhead sets throughout the period with a new swell peaking on the opening day with a NNW swell suiting Backdoor. Another much bigger NNW swell could be lining up.

Injuries to report: Adrian Buchan and Tiago Pires, Jordy Smith, Owen Wright, and Glenn Hall will NOT be surfing at Pipe.
