St Ives – they do things differently down there – the swell board shootout

I once rode through the streets of St Ives on the bow of a viking longboat (on wheels) brandishing a bottle of cheap cider at tourists. It was one of four manned by 50 vikings. It was carnage. The Lizard boys pushed me and their boat into the harbour. Holiday makers ran away, the local police just shrugged their shoulders and walked on. It was just another day in St Ives. As was this.
